Latest Batch
Here is my latest batch of bandsaw boxes after what feels like a long ordeal.
It is also a plug for the following:
Barwon Valley Woodwrights
17th Annual Woodwork Exhibition & Sale
Includes Secondary School Woodwork Competition for Geelong district schools.
St Govt Office Bldg, cnr Fenwick and Little Malop Sts, Geelong, 10–4pm
Geoff Findlay: 03 5250 1579
The boxes ..... along with much better work will be on display this weekend.
The designs are straight from the book, Building Beautiful Boxes With Your Bandsaw, with the only twist being they are generally smaller than the original pattern ...... after two batches from the book I think it is time to start on my own designs
I should add that the timber is unknown ..... all boxes are made from recycled ex-ford packing creates .... with all of their glorious flaws. Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools. Be sure to check out the Binford 6100 - available now at any good tool retailer.

Well done. Good Luck with the 17th Exhibition Woodwork and Sale.
Is this your nx number of participations in this Show?
And yes I agree, now you have developed your bandsawing skills, it is the time to display your own creative skills.Tony Ward

You have done well with recycled timber, they look great. Look forward to seeing some of your own design. Did you forget to put the date of the Geelong Show or am I not looking correctly

Thanks guys .... I do plenty of sketches of new designs at work but dont often get a chance to give them a try.
23+ drawers indeed .... there are also a few more that I didn't post
It is Barwon Valleys 17th Exhibition however only my second appearance ..... I have attended the show for a 6-7 years but only recently had enough confidence to publically display.
As for the show the address that I provided is correct ..... the dates are 3rd & 4th November 10am-4pm. Little Ryrie is a few streets up .... but it offers free parking on Saturday. I copied directly from our public calander which is why the date was missing ..... dont worry you still have tomorrow! Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools.
