The family is growing ...
Hi all,
well these boxes are addictive - I'm finding it very hard to leave the shed to even ride the horse and I LOVE this time of the year for riding!!! Never mind.
Here are some more boxes, I didn't spend a lot of time getting the pics and, having just looked at the link of SS and his first run of boxes, I may need to round them a little more. I need to get some files I think to speed up the rounding bit. Sand paper too slow and (dare I say it) horse rasp too rugged
The jarrah caused a lot of stress and I became #$%^& minded that it was going to work .... probably should have just put it in the fire but I lit the shape ... OK as a 'teaching tool'.
the pear was very split (I like splits and holes) but it isn't everyones cup of tea with filings.
Am working on a 2 drawer sheoak for my niece's 21st - it was a piece from the firewood pile!!
Still on the learning curve
JD

Nice work... I still haven't finished my first one yet but got new blades for the bandsaw yesterday. Just need to tune it and cut some wood I guess. I love the last three drawer one
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
