Explanation .
When i tried to get on to the forum this Morning.
I got. "your I P has been banned contact here."
so sent Emails to my I P and to ubeaut. and now i am ok again.

it is ready for the sander first customer for my new 48" sander.
and draw cutting to be done.

Have you given any thought to preventing the drawer from simply rotating within the cabinet, as there is (at least from what I can see from your images) no flat surface upon which the drawer will rest?

It will not rotate.(its not round )due to bad cutting, not by
design.( Inovations) had thought about cutting a keyway, but
forgot all about it when cutting, will have to make notes on procedures
next time.
The box has quite a tilt on it, it might slide out. may need a small stop at the back.

To overcome the possible issue of a rotating drawer may I suggest - (1) bandsaw the front of the drawer. Then (2) From the scrap of the block cut two vee-shaped pieces, the length of the drawer - they should be (a) twice the width of the kerf surrounding the drawer and (b) be able to be glued to the inner base section of the cabinet. (3) Now bandsaw two smaller vee-shaped grooves into the base of the drawer block approximately 2cms either side of the drawer block centre line. (4) Place the drawer block into the cabinet cavity, align the block with the cabinet using the grain of the block and the cabinet and mark the location vee-shaped grooves, then glue the two vee-shaped pieces to the cabinet. (5) Test the movement of the drawer blank within the cabinet and if necessary sand the vee-shaped pieces to enable the drawer blank to move freely within the cabinet. (6) then bandsaw the back of the drawer and bandsaw the drawer blank to create the drawer hollow and when finished glue the front and rear sections of the drawer etc... the purpose of the vee-shaped peices is to stablise the movement of the drawer and to position it within the cabinet cavity in the same way you would use sleepers.

You posted your response whilst I was preparing my last suggestion, a bit like ships in the night?

You mentioned you have a tilted drawer, are you saying the front of the drawer blank is wider than it's rear, a tapered drawer blank? If so, then there may be one of two causes (1) the table is not aligned square to the blade, or (2) the back of the cabinet is not square to the blade?

the draw is parralel to the top and to the bottom.
i did not square the block prior to cutting, thought tilt would be different.
