Hi clogger,
The Sealer is a generic from Woodturning Supplies here in Brisbane. (see below) I have also used the U Beaut White Shellac which you can get at Carba-tec.

Excellent work Billy. I am even more determined to make one of these when I get the time. Branding your work! what do you use to brand your projects?

About 4 years ago my Aunt, who sold some of my boxes, suggested to brand, number and add the wood species. I have lost track of the counting!
I simply bent a heavy gauge piece of wire which I heat to burn. It is still going after hundreds of uses. My Brand is W D S. (my initials)
There is a company in the US who can make them, I found them once searching, but I haven't had a need.
