The UBSBB Book is Here
Hi to all-
Just a note to let you all know that I now have the book in stock. I've even gotten special forms for you Aussies to use on the individual order pages. Go to the right form and the postage is corrected for Canada and Australia. I've sent out 150 books so far and the response has been overwhelmingly positive- whew! For more information you can go to the page devoted to the book: http://www.woodworks-by-donna.com/UBSBBINFO.html To read some of the responses you can look at the book's forum: http://theubsbbook.proboards78.com/index.cgi
I'm still giddy with delight to hold my own book in my hands- what a kick!

Donna's Bandsaw Book
received the book direct from Donna last week, it's beautifully produced with great photos and entertaining text. Information is 1st class along with great ideas for a range of bandsaw boxes. Now to find the time to have a go!

The first box I've seen is the Guppy Box, and one in progress is the Pinwheel Box. The bandsawboxes Yahoo! group has the Guppy Box picture on it's homepage- a bad photo taken with a phone- but Jonathan promises us a better one soon. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bandsawboxes/
He used an unusual patina finish that I would love to see in a better photos. Donna

I got my copy yesterday - 5 days from the States to Alpine Victoria. Now, if only our postal service could move things internally as quickly!
The book looks fantastic. I'm really keen to get started but unfortunately (??) I've got a month fishing in New Zealand first. Curses!
I also like the look of Donna's extra boxes that she e-mailed.
Cheers

Hi Guys-
Never got notice of the replies here- darn. (I think I've checked the correct box this time.) I'm happy to see so many Aussies making more beautiful band saw boxes. Tony asked for some examples of boxes made with help from the book, so I thought I'd post my special album of those:

There is also a nice photo of the Infinity Box on our homepage now:

I'm alway pleased to see examples of designs from the book, so please send me any photos you have so I can add them to my collection. Thanks, Donna Menke

Donna, I tried to order your book using pay pal but your link would not let me enter the 2 free patterns. Send me an e-mail to let me know what to do.
