Default Wedding pen and box set - finished

    Heyas.

I was making a few pens for a friends upcoming wedding and conceived an idea for a box to put them in.
I've mentioned this before in a post where I asked for advice on detailing here https://www.woodworkforums.com/f60/op...ng-box-137596/
But I decided to leave the box plain. After all I need something to improve on next time I make one

    Anyway. Finished result.

If you want details on the construction process, have a closer look at the album for this box. I've put all my documentation (what I took) and detailed descriptions of the stages in there.

    Thank you.

I considered entering but only read the conditions AFTER posting a few pics of the box when I was after some advice on detailing. One of the conditions was no pics posted prior to the entry.
Next year. I have an idea for a more elaborate and detailed box. It will be fun learning how to do it.

Fantastic work Paul. The pens look fantastic, and the box looks incredible - I love the design. They should be very happy with these!

Rose Myrtle I think. But it was a while ago that I bought it and can't really remember. Got a piece of off-cut at the Brisbane Working With Wood and Timber expo.

Grouse Job! For a box THAT is thinking outside of the square CD.
