    Default wheel tire.

G'day, I've got a problem I bought a three wheel band saw at a deceased estate sale, It has no identifing mark/ tags /name. but I think it maybe a CRAFTMASTER,
the problem is the tire on the bottom wheel has gone hard and peices had come away from it(big bits) have tried to cut a bicycle tyre and stick it on , it works but no matter how i adjust it , the teeth run on the alloy, does anybody know where i can buy a 6inch tire? i'm running a 6mm wide blade at 6 tpi; with a length of 1785mm
I found large ones at sydney tool but they don't have 6',,,, CD.

What's on the rear wheels of a child's tricycle? They seem to come in all sizes as well as those used as "training wheels" for bicycles.

Our village airport is so busy, that's where parents take their kids to learn to ride a bike!

Maybe worth checking out a company that manufactures or sells pully belts etc. You know like the fan belts used on cars. I have seen some flat ones that may be adaptable for your purpose. Or maybe you could use a car inner tube that you could cut to the desired width and it would stretch over the wheel. You would need a tube that was less than 3 inches in the wall so it gave you a little under the 6 inches in circumference so it could be stretched or glued in place over the wheel. If the tyre doesn't fit in a groove, you could cut the tube to the width of the wheel so as the blade didn't ride on the metal wheel surface. If it fits in a groove, then you would have to cut the tube to the size of the groove so it fits the groove.
    Reality is no background music.
