the eagle
this is my desighn alltho not drawn by me . its nearly all gippsland blackwood with a little silver wattle .finish is organ oil

Absolutely beautiful work Tom. The Blackwood's markings and color are spot on for imitating the feathers (Beautiful plumage guvner!!) Looks biggish - guessin' ??1000mm across??
I see you got your mugshot in this months AWW with the dresser too! Well deserved.

Remember the flight of 3 china ducks oft seen winging across lounge room walls in days of old?
Now a flight of two or three of these would bring it out of the realm of tacky and into art...
