    Default Kew

Just thought some of you might be interested in this project.

I visited Kew Gardens a few weeks ago while holidaying and visiting my daughter.

    The story goes........
A couple of years ago they had a big storm in London and something like a thousand trees were destroyed.
A talented friend(s) of the Garden collected some of the debris and made this intarsia. It is mounted on the wall in the main Garden shop.

It depicts a number of the features of the Garden and has some big bloke blowing it to pieces.

While there I visited the Noble Pine, securely fenced, with a "Kangaroo Next 25km" sign tied to the fence.

    Ah yes.
I recognize the famous Peking landmark.
It is the Won Long Dong Pagoda.
Renowned for its dance competitions held in the Ballroom(s) at the base.

    Wow

That is nice. I would love to see a biger Pic of that. It is hard to see what is on the right side. As far as the left side of the, it looks like a building and some trees to me.
