Veneered side table
No actual marquetry, but veneering all the same. For the base, typical 4 legs, 4 rails. I'm veneering all of those pieces
So first question, would anybody cross grain over, 60mm legs before veneering again, grain vertical?
Next, the rails, similar story, cross grain, then lengthwise? Oh, I'm not using solids because the veneers are so nice. And I'm not using mdf rails because it's all mortise and tenons. And I realize that most of the best furniture in the world is veneered over solids.
Thanks
Nick
