Nice, funny you should say that. for the nails and the bolts that hold the two pieces of the cross together i used a soldering iron. in my humble opinion i think that is kinda like cheating, but then again the experts shade the wood in heated sand so they colour the wood used anyway. hope you guys noticed the wrap and how i used the grain of wood in this area, really happy with how that turned out,
