Chess Board
This is a just completed chess board...the top is English oak and walnut veneer while the box is solid English oak and Queensland Walnut. The draw carcasses are radiata pine with all joints made on the table saw.

A parquetry board
This chessboard is made from solid Jarrah and Kauri pine

This is a wonderful chess board! congrats! I didn't know those species of wood, I don't think we can find solid Jarrah and Kauri pine here in Canada! Thank you to share your work.

Nicely put together CH . I like them . The concept of including storage with the board is a good one .
I've just become an optimist . Iv'e made a 25 year plan -oopps I've had a few birthdays - better make that a 20 year plan
