    Default Veneer advice

    Veneer advice,

    Hello all,

I am building some open baffle speakers from marine ply, to match the rest of the house i tried staining them but dont like the colour, i have given them a quick sand back and would like to veneer them, i have a couple of questions on the difficulty though... The pics show some of the edges i am concerened will be very difficult to veneer, any advice would be appreciated.

i would iron the veneer on in that situation.i have successfully done it in the past.dont use too much pva.just get the iron hot, brown paper over the veneer & just do a little at a time.have a metal rule cold so that you can cool the veneer down a bit after ironing.
