Ever wondered why the legs break off some of products that are just so much cheaper to buy than than stuff made here in Oz?.

Sadly, just as we discard the broken product, so will his employer discard him when he can,t see to weld (or anything else for that matter)

If you have a close look, you can see that he is using a glossy page rather than std newpaper. As we all know a glossy page reflects most of the radiation from the arc. His glasses are also highly polished, for the same reason.

Bah, you guys are all soft. Ive had to weld up a suspension mount on a 4WD while lying in the mud with a coathanger as the electrode. Only had my Oakleys as saftey glasses, and the mud was useful as cooling when my hands got too hot.

A relation of mine was recruting staff for a large steel fixing job on a large government project here in Adelaide. One bloke who came with good references complained about sore eyes after welding all morning until lunch time. My relation said you must have the wrong filter in your helmet, worker proceded to demostrate the problem he was welding with the filter glass flipped up, his excuse was he thought that was there to keep the sun out of his eyes.
