Default 3 phase motor and VFD

I have a CMG 3 phase motor 240v Delta, 415v star. Connected to a teco/Westinghouse FM50 drive, Single phase input to 3 phase output.
The problem is when connected in delta the motor hardly turns(set for 50hz ) and is very noisy. Wired in star the motor turns at correct speed but lacks power. Suggestions?

I would suspect some wrong settings of the VFD. Perhaps reset to Factory defaults and then adjust the parameters again to match those of the motor. I don't have a Teco, but other here have and may be able to walk you through them.
    Cheers,

The last time that happened to me it turned out to be a dirty contact strip inside the terminal connection box.
Photos of the motor name plate and the terminal connection box in ∆ and Y connection mode might be useful.

    Thanks for those photos
Now a photo of the actual terminal block would be good to see.

Thanks for the pointers, it is now up and running at full power. Now to make It do some work and decide if it needs more.
I was a combination of program settings and wiring.
