    Default ?

My nephew wants met to get a good air die grinder. Can any of you tell me if your grinders in Au have metric or inch chucks? I find great buys on used air tools but I don't know what size is used for spindle grinding wheels.
Thanks. If anyone need air tools let me know. I just bought a 3/4" air impact for $35. $450 tool.

    G'day S. A,
I don't think that it matters too much as to which chuck you buy as cutters
& stones are available here in inch and metric sizes. I have both Snap On & Ingersoll Rand die grinders. Both have 1/4" collets. I use Pferd rotary burrs ( cutters ) & stones in both tools & have no problem purchasing the stones or burrs.
Some die grinders come with both imperial ( inch ) and metric collets or they can be purchased as required. I also have a 3/16" collet to suit my Ingersoll Rand die grinder.
Hope that this is of some help to you.
    Regards,
    Barry.
