Al 320g good & bad news
For those who may have followed my recent AL320G woes, things got worse with alignment problems from the lead screw to the DOR gear drive, including a waft in the leadscrew and possible incorrect machining dimensions of the gear box casting.
The good news was (even though frustrating) a contact to Hare & Forbes was positive, with them arranging to take the sus components back at their cost and sort the problems, and apologised for the inconvenience. So at least in fairness to them, they at this point seem to give good customer support.
So will keep informed as to the outcome

Hi, no problems, this should give you a little background as to the issues, that got worse by the moment. Having said that, H&f have seemed helpful at sorting the issues, even though it is fair to say thet having them in the first place is not good.
If your going to purchase a machine like this, than you should be aware of a number of issues you may need to contend with, so will send PM to save a lot of things probably repeated many times on forums such as this.
