I dont have a surface plate...and certainly cant afford one large enough to check my new tool.....you know the 900mm long camel back straight edge

who knows who in Adelaide who might be able to check it and if necessary true it up?

There's a 60cm square cast iron surface plate on ebay right now, that would have an 84 cm diagonal. If you buy it, you'll have to give us all a report on how you told the missus.

I would'nt be able to Graz....i'd be laid up in hospital in intensive care ward or probably worse
