    I have found what appears to be an old Knurler ?

    It may have been made for a turret or capstan lathe originally, but it looks like it has been adapted for something else.

    Plus 1 on that Lex original shank for the capstan is usually 2 inch and is what Me thinks too.especially end on feed.Prob for making knurled thumb screws.lots of fancy tooling turned up here during the war years.cheers all John.
