These work very well on car paint, no matter how old the sticker/pin stripe. Might want to test in an inconspicuous area first if your machines look like they have soft paint. Probably won't work so well on heavily textured paint, but at least you only have to get the remaining adhesive out of the low spots.

Pretty sure I saw one in my local Supercheap Auto for about the same cost last time I was in there, but I can't find it on their website.

What I'd like to know is what is the glue they use for putting defect stickers on cars (errrm, not that I've had one, you understand). Talk about proverbial to a blanket. It would be very useful glue to have!

I'm not even 100% sure I know what you're talking about, but maybe soften it up with a blow dryer and then peel really slowly?

All the citrus based cleaners are the same solvent.
D-limolene. You can get it from some hardware stores as d-limolene and some sell it as citrus terpine (used for thinning tung oil) it is the best cleaner for most sticky things.

When your car gets a defect notice from the cops. Others use similar glued labels to put a DON"T PARK HERE sticker over the windscreen so you can't see you way to drive out of the way.

Tried to get some Oomph, from ww & neither the girl & myself could not find.
Haven't tried the others yet. Crickey, the price of Ucl Oil was a bit of a shock.
If I want to keep a good Glass Jar, & there is paper all over, then I use the Wire Wheel on my Grinder. It sure gets it off.

I thought they were just an everlasting reminder of my willingness to buy something that is cheaper and possibly not functioning as it should and that I was willing to pay more for it than anyone else!!
I have always found the footsteps of the minister of fun and finance enough to gain the motivation to use as much elbow grease as needed and whatever is within reach to remove the said sticker before it is noticed!! I don't know why because I always leave an easily tracable money trail anyway that results in a full interogation, so now I usually ask for permission with enthusiasm rather than forgiveness afterwards.

I have a few machines that have more than one on as they have returned to the auction house again or been through a couple of auctions.

So the Minister doesn't actually recognise a new rather large object making a new and distinctive sound - just stickers?

Try The green shed or Officewrx... as these are the vendors listed by the maker

Thanks everyone for your replies. Might try some eucalyptus oil and have a look for some ooomph? next time I'm at officeworks. Will report back as to how they go.

Do you have a SuperCheap near by, that red can of degreaser. $2.00 bucks on special.

I'm using that to de-glue the double sided sticky tape I use to grind gib's. It has way more solvent in it than WD40.

I'm pretty sure I've taken off auction labels with it.
