Think I've seen kingchrome in blue boxes in Bunnings, or Supercheap catalogs or something. Seen them, and thought utter crap, so am grateful to have found out that I have to check the name closely..... but if they are not much better, it saves me bothering to distinguish between them......

    G'day,
Yeah Kinchrome used to be made in Japan and I have an original set of these, along with some of their later stuff which is Chinese (Just like Siddies). I have to say that although the Chinese stuff is not too terrible, it's just not as good as the Japanese version, on which I've hung my hundred kilos at the end of four foot of water pipe on a 25mm socket which didn't even look like failing (I was impressed) !!
    Cheers, Steve
