    I happened to find this short vid on YouTube last night and found it to be one of the simplest ways of turning a radius I have ever seen.
    Well worth a look if you intend turning one.
    I can see a great use for this style if you wanted to make your own dies for an english wheel or similar.

    You could turn your balls the same way, I suppose. I'll have to make a T slot in mine to try it.
