I am using a small pond fountain pump. 2 secs is not a big prob but before it was a lot longer time. I am a skinflint and I am also trying to see how long I can get the blade to last. I started a cut on the weekend without doing up the vice and spun a bit of angle. Couple of teeth missing.

Someone, maybe BobL tried sprays and gave up on it. Give it a try tho. Depends on pump pressure etc. Have you read the whole thread. At some point I show the method used on my saw which is poly pipe which is split so it fits right over the blade on the motor side. This helps to remove the swarf. The bit of poly is only about 40mm long rigid riser which is joined to the rest of the flexible poly. This allows the nozzle to be replaced for about 0.5cents a shot.
