Default What is the base of this Schaublin 102?

    Hi All,

I pointed this one out to BT a while back, but I couldn't help coming back to it and wondering where I've seen that base before....

At first I thought ..."It's a old cast iron stove"

But now I'm not so sure... still, being able to heat up a few pies while you work, now there's an essential bit of tooling..

    Regards
    Ray

Looks more like a base off an old power hacksaw to me

My oldest Schaublin catalogue is from 1943, nothing like the AGA inspired base in there. The bases illustrated are more modern looking.

Well spotted Nev,,,,,,,,BUT,,,,,,,,, You didn't get my ok to show pic of my new girl around the place
Nothing done to her yet except bolted her to a pallet so I can move her about safely.

    Cheers.

If I'm not right, then I'm wrong, I'll just go bend some more bananas.

    Hello Nev,

Have you put the little Hercus No.O back together again?
