Hi all
I'm in need of a sourse for solid aluminium round bar up to 6 inches in diameter. Anyone know of a place in Aus

Hmm. Capral Express as stated above might be able to help. For about 1", if you need it or anyone else does, old bike handlebars can help. My dad had an old set of handlebars for a bultaco bike which was a solid piece of aluminium about 23mm in diameter. It turned beautifully

The smelters cast billet about that size but they'll probably want to sell you at least 500kg.

on ebay search for "lathe". There's a bloke always listing various metals/sizes. He's approachable and can probably get small qty's.
