BM-450A Tool and Cutter Grinder
Hi Guys,
About 3 years ago there was a thread with a member looking for a manual for one of these machines.
It seems that this grinder has been made by a number of factories and marketed by even more machinery dealers.
Does any have a copy of a manual for this machine.
I have searched the web and had no luck but I am sure that there is one somewhere.
I am particularly interested in end mill and slot drill grinding on this machine.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Can you throw up a picture of the machine please - it's the best way to positively ID the machine.

Thanks for that Bob.
I have already downloaded this manual, but the G198 is a far more capable and complicated grinder.
In fact I was going to buy a G198 but decided that I should really try to figure out how to use the BM-450A. I bought it years ago and really only used it to sharpen a couple of lathe tools but couldn"t work out how to set it up to sharpen end mills so it has been sitting at the back of the shed.
I would really like to have some information to get me started.
Maybe I just neeed to get to it and have a go.
Regards
pcx

I'm unclear on what you are asking.
Do you want to sharpen the ends or the flutes?
Do you have the attachments needed?(or is that what you are asking?)

What I am asking is does anyone have a copy of the manual, or where to obtain one, for this mahine.
I would like to sharpen some endmills on it. Both the ends and the flutes.
I think that I can set up to do the ends. Might not be the best way to do it but I think I can make it work.
However I would also like to know what else can be done with this machine.
As far as I can tell from the pictures I have been able to find on the net, I have all of the standard accessories that came with it.
I just do not know how to use it properly.

I thought the number was familiar. I have one of those including a manual.
PM me an address and I'll see if a copy accidentally falls in a post box.
(The scan file is too large to upload to the forum)
