What is this boring head used for?
I picked this up today. It is obviously an adjustable (69mm to 86mm) two-point boring head. The shank is 4MT.
It has an ingenious adjusting mechanism that keeps both cutters bith parallel and evenly extended. It also has a very fine scale (0-60) but I haven't had a micrometer on it yet to determine if these are thousands or decimals of millimeters.
The two cuttings edges are tungsten carbide tipped.
There is some etched text on both sides but it's no legible.
Anyone seen one like it?

As linked by Bryan these look like David Brown reamers. Have not used such but suspect opposing blades could present a few problems, suspect 3 would be better.

Greetings I have come on to this thread a bit late but hope I can help. This looks like a floating head reamer. I used them at Vickers Ruwolt back in the early 70,s. The ones I saw the blades had a lateral movement as well as the radial micrometer settings. They gave an exceptional finish. I have not seen a tungsten carbide version. Yours 4-6-4
