    Hey Phil,

I was going to add my scanned copy of the Cincinnati Shaper catalogue to the stick but didn't because I posted the scans on the forum last year. Anyone interested enough would have seen them and for those whose interests may have changed and are now shaper fans, here's a link. https://www.woodworkforums.com/f65/ci...3/#post1335333

    Hi Fellas,

I've run into a few technical difficulties regarding scanning the text books. Simply, its a lot harder than I thought! My wife is back, so I'll get her to help me this week. It may take some time.

    Cheers Ben

I have viewed the "Travelling Stick" & it is ready to forward to the next person.
I think that is Ken Toggy.
If that is the case could Ken PM me his mailing address.

    Hi Phil

You know how it is .... I will find a shaper eventually . I don't want to be the one to miss out on the fun. Everybody here on this forum has been mesmerised by shaper action , I want one too

Horribly horribly addictive Mike. Good luck with the search. They say you are limited only by your imagination on a lathe. Wait 'til you get a shaper!

    Default Shaper

    Mike
I have had a number of goes at bids on E bay & a seperate tender.
All have failed to get me a Shaper. It seems everyone bids very high. I was speaking to BT Bob the other day & convinced myself & Bob that I definitely did not require a Shaper.
No, No, I do not need one, had one years back but did not use it much.
But then again it would be nice to see that reciprocating ram cutting metal shavings off steel metal blocks or the lovely sound of cast iron yielding to a cutting tool, set correctly.
The shaper does a nice job of internal keyways as well.
Hard to justify, but just the enjoyment
Thanks to Steamwhisperer Phils therapy classes for keeping the brain on track
    regards
    Bruce
