Hi to all the brotherhood,
The stick arrived from Sean in NZ yesterday - very quick transit time it seems to me. I have copied it onto my computer - with no problems.
Thanks to all who have contributed to the compilation. I have a bit of reading to undertake.
Now that I have finished copying it, to whom do I post it to next?
Thanks again
Regards
Quentin

And another ...
Phil,
Please put me on the list as well. The Douglas modification is getting there, if slowly.
Thanks,
Bill

List of make and stroke ?
Is anyone keeping a list of shapers in the Brotherhood? It seems to me that Douglas's are predomimate?? I have a prewar? 18" Alba, which I havent used as much as I would have liked as I have had to run it with a lawn mower motor! In recent years I have acquired an 550mm Klopp that is presently sitting forlornly in a mates shed. I have now moved to a property where three phase is available and a new shed will be built early in new year and hopefuly the Klopp will be in action soon after! The Klopp has a friction drive arangement that quite interesting, also I am looking for any information on the klopp that I can find.
Yes, I will post some photos later!

Should everyone throw a small pic on the stick with our username, model, age as its name? Just a thought.
It does seem the douglas's are popular, but they were made here so it makes sense. Unlike mine, one of 4 that i can find online worldwide....but then what can you expect from a company that went bankrupt in 1927?1915 17"x50" LeBlond heavy duty Lathe, 24" Queen city shaper, 1970's G Vernier FV.3.TO Universal Mill, 1958 Blohm HFS 6 surface grinder, 1942 Rivett 715 Lathe, 14"x40" Antrac Lathe, Startrite H225 Bandsaw, 1949 Hercus Camelback Drill press, 1947 Holbrook C10 Lathe.
