Business for sale
Hi there,
If any one is interested in taking over a blacksmithing/general steelwork business for a reasonable price, please PM me.
Its a mate of mine, who has a shop-front and small workshop in a tourist complex on a main highway, making stuff from scrollworked candle holders to full commissions of fencing and security grills. 15-20mins north of Toowoomba, on the grey nomad's route, lovely country feel! 5mins from the famous Farmer's Arms pub!!
All machinery included, gas forge and power hammer, welders, cut-off saws, scrolling machine, stock etc; some on-going work ($$$); and he will provide some training/design input to get things rolling if required. An annual blacksmiths festival is held at the premises too, which will continue.
If I was better positioned with regards kids, and wife's new business etc I would jump at it myself, but it would mean the big "D". I reckon he's selling it for a song, so if you are interested I'll put you in direct contact.
Cheers,Andy Mac

As an embroidery digitiser, SWMBO told me to "Forget it fella or I'll punch you."
I don't want to get hurt, otherwise.........Of course I'm brave, I'm afraid of NO man, and only a few women.
