Default Button Die plastic holders... Where to buy?

    Gents,
I've recently bought a couple of 1.5" button dies off eBay. They didn't come with the little plastic storage boxes that most of my others have.

I've done many searches to try an find such things, all to no avail.

Does anyone know where I could get some from, or what they are called so I can keep searching?

Likewise for taps, I have quite a few without individual boxes.

    Thanks
    Jon

    Thx
    Jon

For taps go into your local florist and ask for some vials. I use them for taps, reamers etc. http://www.alibaba.com/product-detai...419050119.html

Or if you know someone that is a nurse ask them to get you some blood sample vials.

I usually ask for a few when I get my twice yearly blood tests

Can you put up a picture of the other boxes you have? I have a lot of packaging from milling cutters and might have something that will work. If I do and you want them I'll mail them to you.

    Default Storage box

Jaycar have a storage box with 18 compartments, the dividers are removable.

It measures 275x175x40 in translucent plastic. They are about $8 each.

    Hi Pete,
These aren't my boxes, but are exactly the kind of things I have at home and would like some more of if I can find them...

I have 2" square ones that are about 3/4" deep and some bigger than that that will work for the dies. Also have some of the flip up boxes from 5/8" diameter taps like the bottom pics along with lots of round and rectangular ones that slide together in various sizes. Send me your address by PM and I'll send a package of them to you. You can pass the favour forward to someone in the future and we'll call it good.

I should get these to the post office tomorrow but they will most likely go surface mail. Air is in the $40 dollar range and that doesn't make sense for discarded plastic. Hope they work for you.
    Pete.
