Best place to buy fenner power twist belt
Hi,
I'm after some fenner power twist belt for a sheraton lathe I just bought, It had the belt missing and I think it's too much trouble to remove the spindle at the moment.
Just wondering if it's worth buying in Australia, if so does anyone know a good supplier that will sell it to me at a reasonable price or should I just order from the states?
I think the type of belt I need is B.
Thanks

Try Here
and here at Blackwoods....just that they hide it under an arcane naming system.
Cheers

Sure, I'm told about $60 /metre - not cheap - especially considering strength of AUS$ at present.

Thanks for that tanii51 - it was your original post and costing which first got me interested in this product. (I was pretty surprised at my WA motionindustries quote). Still seems like a great product, and better than my 1950's style original 'A' section canvas belting on the Hercus which keeps breaking . . . after 50+ years!

If you are near Rowville, you could give Powergrip a call.
Powergrip - Nu-T-Link - Super-T-Link
They used to have a $20 minium order.

I bought 4ft from a supplier in the US on Ebay. Alot cheaper than Blackwoods or the like.
Can't remember who they were, but it was easy to find.
It seems to be impregnated with gold in Oz, but it quite reasonably prices in US.
I'm sick of being ripped off by local businesses.....ok, I feel better now....:0)
