    Default WHERE TO BUY JARNO TAPER DEAD CENTRES IN AUSTRALIA

    Does anyone know where I could buy a Jarno No16 centre here in Australia as I m restoring a old lathe are they available here as
    the headstock taper is Jarno I think No 16 any help I would be most grateful to find one to complete this lathe
    The lathe is English the spindle bore is 1 3/4

    Someone could probably turn/grind up a blank for it...

    The only place I would say you may find a Jarno taper is at some very old second hand machinery dealer that has piles of antique rusty tools..

    I had to grind a Jarno taper test bar for my 10EE... They are not that hard to do..
    Light red, the colour of choice for the discerning man.
