I've never bought from Enco but for things in the US where they won't ship to Australia, I use Shipito (www.shipito.com) who are pretty darn good. I'd get Enco to ship to them and then get them to on-ship to you.

Bob, it is a painful (in relative terms) experience, BUT well worth it.
I purchased my Phase II BXA tool post set from Enco. They shipped the items no problem at all to my Shipito address in the US - After I wired the funds. They had no problem knowing I was in Australia and shipping to a US forwarding address. It worked out better that way as I used TNT for the freight and they were cheap and super fast.
The process I went through was to place an order on their website. I put my address as the US shipping address. Of course my credit card failed to pass the muster on the Country test, so I emailed them. They provided bank details and it was smooth sailing from there on out.
If I were to do it again, I would just email them my order. Ask for their bank details and ask them to post to the shipito address.

That was Pete F from here. They would still ship knowing you were in Australia, just not directly. You have to use a freight forwarding company, so Enco only do postage domestic.
Business must be good in the US!

I find a phone call gets a far clearer response and sometimes things can change when they speak to you in person. Other than that PM Fence Furniture (Brett) and he can organise the freight for you.

Its actually listed on their website, under Terms of sale.
International Orders:Enco does not ship orders outside of the United States or its territories. For customers located outside of the United States or its territories, we will ship your order to the U.S.-based freight forwarder of your choice. In addition, Enco reserves the right to request and verify additional shipping and payment information before processing orders placed by our international customers. Please note that the international customer is solely responsible for the costs associated with exporting their Enco order, including forwarding and brokerage fees, duties, tariffs, taxes, and any additional expenses levied by the exporting country (U.S.), the destination country, or any intermediary country through which the order may pass. In addition, all Enco product warranties are VOID on products shipped outside of the United States or its territories.
From here, about 1/4 way down the page.

Yes I saw that...but I only used them last March???
and yes they do not ship to Aus anymore....here is reply from Robert Thompson
Hi Richard,
Thank you for contacting Enco regarding International shipping.
You did hear correctly. As of May 31st Enco no longer ships outside of the United States. There are a few opportunities still available for International deliveries which include;
-Shipping to an address located within the United States
-Shipping to a freight forwarder located within the United States
-Providing Enco a collect account number with a shipper such as UPS, Fed Ex or DHL.
I realize your past orders all were shipped via USPS however, this shipping method is no longer available.
Please let us know if we can assist you in shipping an order using any of the above options.
Thank you for choosing Enco and have a great day.
Sincerely,
-

Am I reading that correctly? To me they will still ship internationally, but only if you pick up the freight tab by holding an account with one of those shippers.
Wouldn't they still have to do the 30 seconds it takes to fill out the customs declaration? I thought that was the impediment. What difference does it make, if you pay them up front for courier freight. Its a weird policy.
Regards Phil.

Shipito has allways worked out for me. The $8.50 fee is normally picked up in freight savings.
I did $450 USD bucks in cold blood recently, trying to bring in 10 Sandvik scraper blades. Sent via USPS, tracking once it hits here is non existant. I've been to two post offices, rang the 13 13 number. Ozpost dont have a clue.
It hit customs here 15th May LZ371143527US I'm yet to see them. They are still in transit. According to Auspost here. Track your item - Australia Post They are still in transit. It will be two months next week.
And you cant make a claim as the receiver. It can only be the sender to do that. I cant put this bloke through that, because I know he sent them. They were only lost here. Shoot my self in the foot. You cant claim back from paypal, because I wanted qauntity, I bought them away from Ebay.
Regards Phil.
