    Question Cast iron table saw

Hi every one I'm in need of some info about where can I go to do a surface grinding on my cast iron table saw, trying to do a fine tune up I did find out that the cast iron table is not flat, I been told that it could be fixed doing surface grinding, could anyone please help me to find a place to go to or suggest any thing about that.
Any info will be very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    (I'm in Endeavour Hills.)

    Hi,
For starters I dont have a surface grinder, but a couple of questions that might help others.
    How "not flat" is it?
    How big is it?

Hi Stuart thanks for your replay, well hard to explain but a place a straight edge metal ruler and found high and low spots so the hole table have to be mill or surface grinding.
I don't know much about it.
    The table is 560 x 800 m/m.
    Thanks again.

    Ricardo,
I suggest you send a PM to Phil "Machtools" (forum member) and ask him if he can help or to get you a quote from Marko (his friend). These two are likely to be only two in Melbourne to do a great job and not to rip you off either.

Also, they will likely ask you to describe how the table casting is mnounted and if the mounting is possibly the cause for the distortion. Something you will want to consider and check.
    Cheers,
    Joe
