Cdco
Has anybody had dealings with CDCO lately?
I have read elsewhere that Frank hurt his back a while ago and that emails were going unanswered. I think some product was being dispatched.
The web site has new specials on it. But no contact. I emailed an enquiry this morning and it was returned with the comment that the recipients account was suspended.

I got a couple of emails out of him approximately 2 weeks ago..but I had to send a follow up to my original email which went unanswered.
What are you looking to buy?

I bought a heap of gear from Frank about 4 weeks ago (when dollar was better). Received items within about 4 days, I think it was about the 4 or 5 May.

It seems we may have to find an alternative supplier if he doesn't step up to the line soon. Any suggestions?? Does anyone who will mail to Aust. have the range of goods as CDCO?
Will truly be a loss if he doesn't get going again.

Most of what CDCO sells is also sold by Little Machine Shop, albeit at a somewhat higher price and higher postage.
I think it may be a little early to write Frank off, he seems to be a very resourceful guy and I'm sure if he isn't back in the saddle himself soon, he will find someone to take care of the business.
There are a few other businesses that sell these sorts of things, most far more than CDCO does, Shars, Victor Machinery, Enco come to mind but there are others.
I have bought from them and only had some problems with Enco, mainly because they are such a big company and had difficulty charging a Visa card with an address in Oz, but delivery in the US. After a few, progressively pointed, emails, they actually took the trouble to ring me from the US and we got things sorted, so all good.

Just covering all bases Fred, and ensuring I have a supplier when I need it.
Things look like they may be sorting themselves out by WH460's post.

I tried to place an order with him about 3 weeks ago and got no reply to me emails.
It was a relatively large order too, This made me worry that if I had paid I would not have recieved my goods.

Just looked at the site. Some of his pricing looks very competitive! $78 US for an 8" 4 jaw. Is it nasty gear though?
