Has anyone had contact with Frank in the last few days?
I got my first order and sent a few emails since then with no reply.
I sent another order enquiry on Friday and have had no response either.....
Has he disappeared again?

He finally replied to an email and was not aware that I was trying to contact him. Weird.

Check your recipient email address.
If you're using [email protected] it no longer works.
As pipeclay pointed out, the [email protected] does work and is now the address given on their webpage.Geoff

I have sent an order via email, it got answered overnight, I confirmed the order and paid and got sent an email that it had been posted within one day...
Now is the time to buy up on tooling if you have the spare $.... I just recieved another order from CTC and am about to place a new order.... I am quite impressed with the quality of CTC tools...

I got two packages from CDCO recently, Frank was initially concerned about weight but then added cheap items to bring the box up to 20 lbs when it became apparent he had room.
I also got a package from CTC, and like Ringer I am happy with the quality but I don't understand his shipping prices which are five times the actual HK Post charges. On the other hand, even with postage it cost $160 for a nice Module 1.5 gear cutter set (all eight cutters)

Hi All
I have an order hopefully on its way from CDCO, not having purchased from this place before, so i am wondering about the quality. So any info on what to and what not to buy would be appreciated. Also is this a one man band or larger company.
Cheers

I have bought lots of stuff off Frank, no problems. Although at the moment I am waiting on three boxes that were sent on the 9th of October, there seems to be a problem with the tracking system on USPS but Frank is looking into it for me.

Tracking systems etc
I have noticed that Oz Post is sometimes days behind on updating tracking info. Also, it seems that USPS parcels go in spurts...I might get some in four days then for a month or so it takes two weeks. I think the recent spike in internet shopping and limited air mail space on the passenger jets during school holidays have slowed things down again lately.

Also...I lost an earlier reply regarding quality of CDCO items.
I am not a huge fan of Chinese tools in general, but I have purchased chuck backing plates, parallels, arbors and QC tool holders. None of these things have moving parts you will note. They have all been adequate to the task and cheaper than the other usual suspects.
A selling point for me is Frank's personal service and his willingness to ensure maximum bang for your shipping buck.

HK post "warehouses" post when capacity exceeds flights.
Once that's done it does not get shipped in order.
Not saying that is the problem but that's how they work. A large HK retailer supplied that information which was supported by HK post. He has huge issues with them every peak period. OTOH, at least they don't price like the Americans do
