    Default cheap lathe suggestions ?

    Hi guys I was wondering If anyone knows where to get A 7x12 mini lathe new or used for under $550. It's for my HSC design and technolgy major project and will be converted to cnc. Currently I am looking at a seig c1 from ebay but it's only a 5.5x10.

    If you have access to other machines look in to buying only the parts you need. For cnc conversion you'll want to replace the leadscrews, won't need change gears and a bunch of other stuff.
