Finally got myself a milling machine.
One of the things that came with it is this sort of indexer. It tilts, has 360 degree markings around the chuck and 90:1 ratio. Unfortunately, there are no markings on the vernier knob. Guess I'll add them one day.
The lever at the top of the photo if lifted allows the chuck to rotate free for quick indexing, when lowered engages the vernier, and locks the chuck if pressed down hard.
Don't know why the guy left that black knob locked in the chuck.

Anyway, Question is : how to open/close the chuck jaws ?
