    Default Couple of ideas

I got sick of spending hours looking for chuck keys, etc, this way I can put all I need right in front of my face, someone might find it useful: A swivelling/spinning tool tray on which I store chuck keys, hex keys, chuck jaws, spanners and centre drills (it was either this or ocky straps on everything)
My lathe wasn't bolted down and was forever moving out of place, upsetting the level so I made up this system; again, someone might find it useful.: 2" x 1" RHS secured to the floor with loxins. There are slots cut into the top of the RHS (same width as the feet) into which the adjustable feet slide and are then screwed into the legs of the lathe bench. Once the bench has been levelled the locknuts are tightened and the lathe won't move out of place. There is also no need to unbolt from the floor to adjust height and level, although once setup, there shouldn't be any need. You'll probably notice I've also added a drawer for measuring implements, indexable and HSS bits, reamers, etc. I've also now got two coolant feeds: a fixed one for drilling and boring and a second magnetic one which moves with the cross, compound and longitidinal feeds.

Looks like a great set up. I really like having everything at hand rather than chasing it all over the shop.
I plan to make a new cupboard with a top draw similar to yours, and a few more under that.
Nice work on the feet as well, never seen them done that way, but good thinking.
