    anyone know what the crank shafts would of been made from in an old lister 2 cylinder engine . i asked in another forum but no answer there yet .

    Not sure on the older engines but the new ones use an EN grade of steel.

    This site:
    Buy Twin Cylinder Crankshaft :: Parts Unique To Twin Cylinder Engines :: Lister CS Engine Spares :: Lister CS & VA Engine Spares :: Lister Engine Spares :: Stationary Engine Parts Ltd
    says they were made from EN16T, and that current Indian made copies are of EN9.
