Default Friendly rivalry or all out war

In my opinion, the best woodwork forum is the metalwork forum.

It's almost guaranteed that someone will respond to a thread within 15 mins.

Recently I submitted a thread re a camera slider in this forum, and it was suggested I also submit a thread in the cnc machinery forum.

I did that 48 hours ago and guess how many responses I got. one!

What's going on over there? Are they too busy geeking or playing with their rams?

LOL Ken you are so funny, trying to make us think there is something outside the metal work forum.... You nearly had me convinced....

    Hello Ken,
I thought it was a good thread I learnt a lot from it

Now I would like to see what you came up with using that information.

I'm not sure a work working forum is really needed. I mean, it's not like they have computers of that thing called the internet anyway! Simon
Girl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

Maybe they want to keep the secrets of power sources to themselves Sorry if this offends anyone, but it is a tongue in cheek comment.

Not sure if I should say this here.
But I'm going to be brave tho I may be hanged from the nearest tree by long thin metal shavings. With weird little men covered in cutting fluid.
I just used my hercus 9 inch lathe to do some wait for it turned some wood on it.
So not sure what that makes me.
( yes I cleaned and oiled it up afterwards just to cover my tracts of course)
