Default Big Day Tomorrow Dec 23

    Hello Forum People
Tomorrows a day I have been looking forward to, for quite a while.
    I turn 72.
However, what I am really excited about is the car my wife & I are hiring for the day.
    A 1964 (red) model MGB.
We are picking it up early morning & driving on country roads all day up into the mountains.
The 60s era, as a number of you may have noticed was a great time for me (apprenticeship etc)
So, this in a way, will be a reflection of that time.
If any of you happen to notice a scarf streaming from a lady with hair effectively ruffled by the wind, sitting up in a red MGB driven by a bloke with a grin on the face, then you will know who it is, please give us a wave !
Also, to all members & their families & friends, all the best for Christmas, & thanks so much for your input, in 2013.
    Celebrate !
    regards
    Bruce

    Have a wonderful day Bruce.
Nothing like a trip down memory lane and thoroughly deserved by a bloke like you.
Happiest of birthday wishes for the 23rd.
    Enjoy the ride.
Plus it's in an imperial car as well.

Thanks, & to you & Vicki we wish you all the very best for Christmas, & thanks for the wonderful input on all sorts of measuring & machining projects & talks through the year.
The chainsaws have had a rest for a few days.
In a way I hope another interest is not looming in the way of old classic cars.
There are more than enough interests in my life, already !
    regards
    Bruce

Thanks for your wishes, & yes the trip down memory lane is good, its also good to be in good health, so I can be so thankful.
We have had some good laughs about Imperial, but hey, it is still a good measurement & the one I will be using till I drop! Enjoy reading your articles & I continue to learn.
    All the best for Christmas.
    regards

    Hi Bruce,
I'm sure that we will have plenty more imperial laughs yet and I am sure I will be using until I drop as well.
Have a wonderful Christmas and soak up today as much as you can.
