I've got a few dewalt tools and I'd highly recommend them.
Mine have copped a fair workout over the years and they are still going strong.
The nicad batteries on my old drill packed it in but it works with the newer L-ion ones so all is good.
I love my dewalt impact driver and I don't know how I used to drive in screws without it
I'd recommend having a look on ebay for batteries, check if your charger is suitable for L-ion batteries and if so get them rather than nicad, they're a bit dearer but worth the extra coin.

    Cheers,
    Greg.

As far as I'm concerned DEWALT is the best avaliable globaly.
I have 2 9inch Dewalt grinders one 5inch grinder a tech screw driver with clutch and an impact driver, All Dewalt and all have copped a flogging and are going as good as the day they came out of the box.
If I had it my way I would replace all my power tools with Dewalt gear..
    Just my 2c worth.
