    Default Feet per Min

Feet per minute is the go!

Abrasive belts for grinding metal, mostly operate at an optimum speed of 5000 to 6000 feet per minute.
Thats about a mile a minute or 60 miles an hour.
If I try and convert that sort of language to metres per second etc it has no meaning.
I guess its what ones bought up with, & becomes comfortable & familiar with.
    Hard to change.
