    Default Dial test indicator suppliers?

I have been on the hunt for some time looking for a supplier of Interapid, Bestest, Tesa dial test indicators (preferably not the dovetail variety). I have been coming up short in my hunt. Who is a decent supplier of any of the above brands? I tried the "swissqualitydiscount" crowd, but never received a response from them.

On a side note I had to pull some serious heroics to get a Haimer 3D Taster from Germany.. I am now looking for a Haimer Centro without much luck. Haimer appear to have a very restrictive view on where people can purchase from.

You maybe hard pressed to find a DTI without dovetail, you may have to settle for a Dial Indicator instead.

Thanks RC on the link. I cannot see any pricing though. I assume I will have to inquire.

Yes, I have found the dovetails seem to be on almost every DTI. I did find however that the Interapid 312-1 and Starrett Last Word both have a 4mm mounting stem.

Although they are by no means a discount operation, Long Island Indicator stocks all those brands. In fact there should be no shortage of dealers on the internet for Interapid.

I bought my Haimer from a German dealer, my Interapid from Swiss Quality.

Since 1957, the Swiss made Tesa products are sold in some parts of the world under the name Brown & Sharpe.
Since 2001 both Tesa and Brown Sharpe are owned by the Swedish Hexagon AB.
I bought my Tesatast back in Switzerland in the 80's. It already had the dovetails. If well loked after, these can last a lifetime. Chris

Care to share which one? If not public please PM me.

I am all ears on other Interapid dealers that anyone has first hand experience with.

The German dealer was on ebay, but that was almost two years ago so I cannot get the details any longer. I'd suggest searching GermBay directly and asking about shipping here. I find about 50% yes rate on that question.

Enco sells Interapid. They currently have a 15% off sale on their whole site. Input coupon code "Decweb" on sales of more than $149.

Here's a dovetailed version Tesa DTI at what seems to me a pretty reasonable price. But then what I think is reasonable, others might not...

I'd say thats a bargain Bob.
Tool exchange has a few B&S tesatasts on his site, like usual they are dealer prices though.

Greg, unfortunately Enco does not sell the metric versions of the Interapid 312. Otherwise they would have been perfect with the 15% off.

Bob, the gauge had graduations that were 0.001. I am ideally looking for 0.01. All that being said that Ebay acution is sold now..

PS: I had checked Enco previously, and did know about the NGK auctions.
