Didn't really know where to put this
So I'll put it here. Does that make all you metalworkers feel good??
Wanted to buy a file here in Brasil. Several hardware type place didn't have them. Went to the next likely source for my raspedeira. Young fellow trots out rusty sample, single cut, after I drew a picture. looks up price and says it was (the equivivalent of) $AU48. Having picked myself up off the floor I exclaimed "muito carissimo"., roughly the equivalent of "too bloody expensive". he came back with a beautiful double gut bastard
, slightly smaller for $AU14. !!
How much is a single cut 9" file in Oz???

Hi, for a Bahco 8" bastard (single cut) we pay somewhere in the A$12-15 range. Here is an online store where you can see the prices. Bunnings has them for about $15. A second cut is about the same price.
The first step towards knowledge is to know that we are ignorant.
