Dividing Plate advice needed
I want to add dividing capabilities to my News 6 inch Rotary table.
I will have to find dividing plates and adapt them to suit.
Since the plates meant for 6 inch tables are only 100mm in diameter they wont give me large number hole options.
I was hoping to find plates with a 150mm diameter and adapt them.
However I am not finding much information on the internet about available plates.
If a member has a vertex 8 inch division plate, can you please measure the center hole size for me.
Thanks MarkI've become a tool of my tools.

Thanks
Thanks Pipeclay that was quick.
Unfortunatly my handle spindle diameter is 21mm so I'm still looking for a plate with a smaller hole.

The hole in the plate only locates the plate on the shaft, there is clearance in the bore, the 3 screws on the plate do the locateing.
Why not if you wish to use 8" plates just put a bush in to suit your shaft diameter.

I agree with what Pipeclay said, I have both 6 inch and 8 inch here if you need measurements.

Thanks guys, I can see that a spacer is the answer.
The Vertex plates meant for the 8 inch table seem the way to go for me.
A trip to Hare and Forbes is on my immediate agenda.

Why not build a stepper motor drive so you can set ANY number of divisions/angles/segments or continuous turning at any of 5 speeds?
I don't regret mine!
