Douglas Shaper 3 phase motor details
Trying to find info for the original 3 phase motor mounted to a Douglas shaper,
rpm,hp,frame type etc

If no-one else has the details to hand I can check mine tomorrow and post the info here. I know that mine is hard wired in star. I just replaced it with a 1 hp single phase motor, an easy conversion.

Douglas shaper 3ph motor
Here are the details of the 3 phase motor off my Douglas, Douglassee
Frame B56-4
watts 550 (about 3/4HP)
1400 RPM
continuous rating
Insulation class E
415 Volts 3 phase 1.4 amps
connection star
Mine is a Pope motor
