Dovetail tool holder
The ongoing talk on dovetails in Reidy41's thread on economical milling, prompted me to post this up.
I've been having a bit of a cleanup/cull in my shed and came across this old tool holder that I acquired with a pallet of stuff off Ebay about 10 years ago.

It took me a little while to get it apart but once done it was in better condition inside that I expected
Not having a big old capstan lathe I'm wondering what this could be re-purposed as?
Even though the angle of the dovetail to the axis is quite steep I suppose it could be turned into a boring head.
Any other suggestions?
Peter
